Scottish music legends The Proclaimers will return to Yorkshire in October 2026 as part of their extensive UK tour — bringing their unmistakable harmonies, heartfelt songwriting and huge singalong moments to Hull, Bradford, Sheffield and Stockton. The shows mark Craig and Charlie Reid’s first UK dates since their 2022–23 ‘Dentures Out’ tour, which saw them play to more than half a million people across 96 performances. With a brand-new studio album due in spring 2026, these dates offer Yorkshire fans one of the earliest chances to hear fresh material alongside the songs that have shaped their remarkable four-decade career.
Formed in 1983, The Proclaimers have earned their place as one of the UK’s most enduring songwriting partnerships, blending folk, pop, punk and Celtic influences into a sound that is instantly recognisable. Their breakthrough single ‘Letter from America’ put them firmly on the map, while ‘I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)’ became a global anthem — a song embraced everywhere from weddings to film soundtracks to football terraces. The emotional weight of ‘Sunshine on Leith’ continues to resonate across generations, cementing their reputation for writing songs rooted in honesty, humour and humanity.
Across twelve studio albums, The Proclaimers have charted gold and platinum records around the world, inspired the hit stage musical ‘Sunshine On Leith’ and become beloved fixtures of British music. Their catalogue is filled with fan favourites that carry both political bite and heartfelt warmth – songs that have travelled far beyond their Scottish roots while retaining a sense of grounded, everyday storytelling.
Yorkshire audiences will get four chances to experience the brothers’ full live show, accompanied by their outstanding touring band. Known for delivering concerts packed with energy and connection, The Proclaimers’ 2026 dates promise a career-spanning mix of songs and new material from their upcoming 13th album.
