Paul Weller Announces Summer 2026 Yorkshire Dates

British music icon Paul Weller has announced two massive outdoor summer shows in Yorkshire for 2026.

The legendary singer-songwriter will take to the stage at TK Maxx presents Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Friday June 12 before heading to Halifax to play TK Maxx presents Live at The Piece Hall on Sunday June 14.

Over the course of a career spanning five decades, the songs of Paul Weller have become deeply embedded in the fabric of British music. His work totals 28 studio albums – eight of which have topped the UK charts – along with several BRIT and Ivor Novello Awards.

Weller first found success with The Jam, whose 1977 debut single ‘In The City’ and eponymous album became seminal releases of the punk era. Following the band’s split, Weller formed The Style Council with Mick Talbot, producing hits like ‘Shout To The Top’ and ‘My Ever Changing Moods’ – songs that continue to feature in his live shows.

“Absolute icon”

As a solo artist, Weller delivered acclaimed albums such as Wild Wood and Stanley Road, helping to shape a new era of British guitar music. His musical evolution has remained consistent into the modern day, with records like 22 Dreams, On Sunset, and 2024’s 66 showcasing his commitment to creativity and reinvention.

Having previously played sold-out shows at both The Piece Hall and Scarborough OAT in 2022 and 2024 respectively, his return in 2026 promises to be another unforgettable experience for fans.

Nicky Chance-Thompson MBE DL, CEO of The Piece Hall Charitable Trust, said: “I can’t wait to welcome this absolute icon back to our world class heritage site. Paul is a master singer-songwriter who’s had such a phenomenal career in two hugely influential bands and as a solo artist too. His last gig here was spectacular, but with a back catalogue as immense and wonderful as his, the challenge for this show is how on earth he narrows down the choices of what to play. This show will be pure class.”

Julian Murray, of Scarborough OAT promoters Cuffe and Taylor, added: “I’m delighted we are able to bring Paul Weller back to Scarborough OAT – he has had such a huge influence on British music and is a true icon. His last show here in 2024 was part of an incredible weekend of music, and we can expect more of the same when he returns in 2026. I’m looking forward to this being one of the highlights of the summer.”
