“Even now, almost 60 years into their career, Kraftwerk are still waiting for the world to catch up with them.” The words of The Times still ring true, and in 2026 Kraftwerk will prove it again with the return of their renowned Multimedia Tour. The German pioneers of electronic music have announced a huge UK and Ireland run for May and June 2026, their first full tour here since 2017.
Yorkshire fans are in luck, with two dates confirmed for May:
After their triumphant one-off at Milton Keynes’ Forever Now Festival earlier this year, Kraftwerk bring back their ground-breaking live show that blurs the line between performance and digital installation. The tour, which began in 2012 at New York’s Museum of Modern Art, has been staged everywhere from Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall to the Sydney Opera House and Paris’ Fondation Louis Vuitton.
Audiences can expect to hear selections from their classic catalogue – Autobahn, The Man-Machine, Computer World, Tour de France and more – accompanied by the state-of-the-art visuals and robotics that have made Kraftwerk a cultural phenomenon for over half a century.
Formed in Düsseldorf in 1970 by Ralf Hütter and the late Florian Schneider, Kraftwerk’s influence runs through the DNA of modern music. From Depeche Mode to Daft Punk, The Chemical Brothers to The Weeknd, countless acts owe a debt to their visionary soundscapes.
In May 2026, Hütter and his team will once again beam Yorkshire audiences into the future, with shows that promise to be as unforgettable as they are influential.
