Hollywood Vampires Return to Yorkshire for Two Huge Outdoor Shows

Hollywood Vampires

American rock supergroup Hollywood Vampires will return to the UK and Europe this summer for a string of hugely anticipated shows, including two major outdoor dates in Yorkshire.

Their first live shows in almost three years, Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen will headline TK Maxx Presents Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Saturday 15 August before heading to Halifax to top the bill at TK Maxx Presents Live at The Piece Hall on Saturday 22 August.

Blistering live shows

Hollywood Vampires — who last visited Yorkshire with an electrifying sold-out show at Scarborough Open Air Theatre in 2023 — will kick off their summer run at The O2 in London on 12 August before heading across the UK and Europe, wrapping up in Italy in early September.

The band said: “After almost three years away, we’re finally coming back to tour the UK and Europe. We’re looking forward to incredible crowds, massive energy and more unforgettable nights. See you all soon!”

It’s been a decade since Hollywood Vampires first came together — and they’re still raising hell on stage. Formed in 2015, the band bonded over a shared love of their favourite songs and a desire to celebrate their ‘dead, drunk friends’ by playing the music of rock’s fallen heroes.

Named after Alice Cooper’s infamous 1970s drinking club — which counted John Lennon, Keith Moon and Mickey Dolenz among its members — Hollywood Vampires quickly earned a reputation for blistering live shows, delivering a riotous mix of original material and tributes to the legends who inspired them.

Their sets are a raucous celebration of rock’s greatest icons, performed alongside their own powerhouse songs. Expect stone-cold classics from The Who, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Motörhead, The Doors and AC/DC, alongside hits from Alice Cooper and Aerosmith. A documentary, Unleashed Spirits – The Rise of The Hollywood Vampires, is currently in the works, with a trailer available via the band’s official website.

Special guests

Joining Hollywood Vampires at both Yorkshire shows will be true punk and goth-rock icons The Damned. With 12 studio albums — including the era-defining Damned Damned Damned — and a career spanning five decades, the band continue to exert a huge influence on alternative music. Their latest release, Not Like Everybody Else, is a deeply personal and celebratory covers album dedicated to the memory of founding guitarist Brian James, who died in 2025.

Extra special VIP packages will also be available in select markets, offering fans early access to the standing area, autographed merchandise signed by the full band, exclusive VIP laminate and lanyard, and more. VIP packages are available in extremely limited quantities — full details can be found via superfan.live/hollywoodvampires.

The Scarborough and Halifax dates see Hollywood Vampires joining an already stacked summer programme across both venues. At Scarborough Open Air Theatre, the band line up alongside the likes of Michael Bublé, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, CMAT, Bastille, Richard Ashcroft, Anastacia, Scissor Sisters, Garbage and Skunk Anansie, James Taylor and Teddy Swims, with more still to be announced.

Meanwhile, the Halifax show adds further weight to a growing 2026 calendar at The Piece Hall, which already includes names such as Jimmy Eat World, Paul Weller, Bowling For Soup, Sex Pistols, The Flaming Lips and The Beta Band, Gary Numan, McFLY, Skunk Anansie and Garbage, and Shed Seven.

Julian Murray, of Scarborough OAT promoters Cuffe and Taylor, said: “Hollywood Vampires are rock royalty, and after their sell-out show here in 2023, we knew we had to bring them back.

“Their return to the Yorkshire coast promises a night of raw power, legendary anthems, and pure rock ’n’ roll energy. Scarborough fans are in for an unforgettable experience — this is one of the most exciting shows of the summer.”

Nicky Chance-Thompson MBE DL FRSA, CEO of The Piece Hall Trust, added: “What a phenomenal night this will be as we welcome both rock and Hollywood royalty for this huge show, that will be the talk of the town and beyond.

“A lot of stars have graced the stage in this world class venue, but we’re talking true legends status here. Expect massive anthems delivered with next level rockstar energy, as this supergroup like no other celebrates music’s greatest icons in our iconic courtyard — a match made in rock heaven.”
