Time: 7.30pm

Presented by: BBC Introducing and Bradford 2025
BBC Introducing, the BBC’s iconic music discovery platform, kicks off its special Bradford 2025 residency with the first in a three-part gig series at The Underground – showcasing the most exciting unsigned and emerging talent in the region.
On 30 May, the stage belongs to alt-rock force HotWax, bringing their high-energy sound and uncompromising style to Bradford. Support comes from post-punk agitators Loose Articles, and boundary-pushing newcomers Polite Bureaux open the night.
This series is all about future stars. BBC Introducing has championed acts like Florence + the Machine, Sam Fender, and Olivia Dean at the start of their journeys. Now, Bradford audiences have the chance to catch the next wave of breakout artists live and loud – before the rest of the world catches on.
BBC Introducing has been championing unsigned and under-the-radar artists since 2007 through radio shows, festival stages, and national platforms including BBC Radio 1 and BBC Asian Network. These Bradford gigs mark the platform’s first ever live showcases in the city.
