Blossoms Announce Huge Leeds First Direct Arena Show

Blossoms have announced a major headline show at Leeds First Direct Arena on Thursday 3 December 2026, as the Stockport band prepare for their biggest headline tour to date.

The newly confirmed Leeds date will see Blossoms step up to one of Yorkshire’s biggest indoor venues, continuing a remarkable rise that has taken the five-piece from intimate club shows to festival main stages and arena-sized audiences.

The First Direct Arena concert forms part of the band’s forthcoming UK arena tour and arrives during another busy year for Blossoms, who are also preparing to release their sixth studio album, Songs From The Wedding Cake, on 2 October via ODD SK / Distiller Records.

The album follows 2024’s Gary, which became the band’s fourth UK Number One album and further cemented Blossoms as one of the most successful British guitar-pop bands of the past decade.

Ahead of the new record, Blossoms recently unveiled the single ‘Additional Driver’, featuring Declan McKenna. The collaboration offers another preview of the sound of Songs From The Wedding Cake ahead of its October release.

The Leeds announcement also comes at a particularly fitting moment for the band, who appeared at Leeds Festival as special guests on the Main Stage shortly before confirming their return to the city for the much larger First Direct Arena show.

Formed in Stockport in 2013, Blossoms comprise Tom Ogden, Charlie Salt, Josh Dewhurst, Joe Donovan and Myles Kellock. Their self-titled debut album reached Number One in the UK in 2016, beginning a run of hit records that has included Cool Like You, Foolish Loving Spaces, Ribbon Around the Bomb and Gary.

Over the years, the group have developed a reputation for bright, melodic indie-pop, sharply crafted choruses and increasingly ambitious live performances. The December concert will give Leeds fans the chance to hear material from the new album alongside established favourites from across the band’s catalogue.
