Summer nights return to Millennium Square with 2026 live music series

Millennium Square Summer nights

Millennium Square is set to host a series of standout live music concerts this summer as it prepares to welcome audiences back for the annual Summer Series, from 26 June to 11 July 2026.

With the May Bank Holiday weekend fast approaching, marking the start of summer planning for many, the city centre venue is gearing up for another fantastic season of eight open-air gigs in the heart of Leeds.

Set against the striking backdrop of Leeds Civic Hall, the Summer Series features a mix of emerging artists and globally renowned acts, once again establishing Millennium Square as a key summer destination for live music.

The festival kicks off on Friday 26 June with Club Classical Ibiza, where dance music classics meet live orchestral performance, curated by Utah Saints and performed with the Orchestra of Opera North and special guests. This is followed by a second night with the Orchestra on Saturday 27 June with 80s Classical, featuring iconic hits from the decade performed by Bananarama, Nik Kershaw, Johnny Hates Jazz and Nick Heyward, bringing a night of nostalgia to Millennium Square.
