Electronic collective, Honesty, will mark the release of their debut album, U R HERE, with a special launch party at Belgrave Music Hall in Leeds, the bands’ home town, on Saturday 15th February.
The free entry show will run from 9pm til’ late, with support and DJ sets from Turnspit, Kloyd and White Flowers.
Free tickets to the launch party are available here
Honesty’s mesmerising live A/V show has been a notable driver of the band’s success to date. Their multi-layered visuals and accomplished live set up fully realise the texture and power of the recordings, leading Mixmag and Clash to highlight the group in their Best Sets of Eurosonic 2024 pieces.
The Leeds-based collective is not a band in the traditional sense. The four core members, George Mitchell, Matt Peel, Josh Lewis and Imi Marston have worked with a varied cast of collaborators, including musicians and visual artists like Kosi Tydes, Softlizard, Rarelyalways, Florence Shaw, and Liam Bailey, to delivery a unique ambient-house experience.
U R HERE, is a fluid, exhilarating, and uniquely introspective take on club music; sonically mapping the psychological impact of the modern age and harnessing the vitality and freedom that comes with new beginnings. With influences that range from Mount Kimbie and My Bloody Valentine to Björk and Burial, the album represents a renewed sense of creative expression amidst a world that can sometimes seem like it’s crumbling apart.
Honesty will also play support to Bdrmm on their forthcoming tour across the UK and Europe, later this spring.
