Del Amitri Add Two Yorkshire Dates to 2024 Tour

After two successful years of worldwide touring following their acclaimed Top 5 2022 album Fatal Mistakes, Glasgow’s Del Amitri will return to the UK in December for their first full nationwide tour in four years.

The band, who recently completed a UK and European arena tour with Simple Minds, will start their UK tour in Newcastle on December 1st – and the band have included two Yorkshire dates as part of the tour.

They will play Leeds O2 Academy on December 4th and Sheffield Leadmill on December 12th.

Del Amitri, known for hits like “Always The Last to Know,” “Nothing Ever Happens,” “Kiss This Thing Goodbye,” “Roll To Me,” and “Driving With The Brakes On,” are currently working on a new album set for release in 2025. They will also perform at Hebfest in Stornoway on July 20th and “Fringe By The Sea” in North Berwick on August 3rd.

Formed in Glasgow in the mid-1980s by Justin Currie and Iain Harvie, Del Amitri released their debut album on Chrysalis Records in 1985. Their breakthrough came with the 1989 album “Waking Hours.” After a long hiatus beginning in 2002, the band reformed in 2020 to create “Fatal Mistakes.”
