Singer, composer and actor David Essex OBE has announced his ‘Thanks for the Memories’ UK tour for September 2026, celebrating a career spanning decades in music, film, and theatre.
The tour will see Essex perform at venues across the country, including four dates in Yorkshire:
David Essex first rose to fame with his award-winning role in Godspell and went on to score twenty-three Top 30 UK singles, including ‘Rock On’, ‘Gonna Make You A Star’, ‘Hold Me Close’, and ‘Oh What A Circus’. His extensive acting career spans films such as That’ll Be The Day and Stardust, stage musicals including Evita and Mutiny!, and a notable stint on EastEnders.
With more than 65,000 tickets sold on his last two tours, fans can expect another unforgettable series of performances.
