Scarborough is gearing up for another incredible summer in 2025 with TK Maxx presents Scarborough Open Air Theatre 2025, offering fans another unforgettable line-up of live music.

From legendary rock acts to electronic pioneers and pop sensations, the Yorkshire coast will once again come alive with some of the biggest names in the industry.  Scarborough OAT has been one of the UK’s finest outdoor music venues over the years, and the line-up of headliners just seems to get more impressive. Those announced for 2025 are already causing a stir among gig-goers…

Indie heroes and rock pioneers

First to take the stage so far is Shed Seven, the indie heroes from York, who will headline on Saturday, June 14. Joined by Jake Bugg and Cast, this promises to be one of their biggest-ever headline shows in their home county, following a year of chart-topping success with two number one albums.

On Friday, June 20, Pendulum, the Australian electronic rock pioneers, will bring their high-energy live show to Scarborough OAT. Fans can expect a night of intense, high-tempo tracks from their new EPs Elemental and Anima, alongside their classic anthems.

UB40 featuring Ali Campbell will bring their reggae magic to Scarborough OAT on Sunday, July 6, performing their classic hits like ‘Red Red Wine’, ‘Kingston Town’, and ‘Food for Thought’. They’ll be supported by Bitty McLean and Pato Banton.

On Saturday, June 21, Basement Jaxx will return to Scarborough for a euphoric night of house, garage, and global sounds. After a 10-year break from the main stage, the duo is set to bring their signature high-energy live show back to the crowds.

Hit singles and fan favourites

Blossoms headline on Thursday, July 10, bringing their chart-topping indie rock sound to Scarborough, with special guests Inhaler and Apollo Junction joining them for a night of unmissable live music.

The Script will be there on Saturday, July 5, as part of their Satellites UK Tour. Expect an evening full of hit singles and fan favourites, with Tom Walker opening the show as a special guest.

Rag’n’Bone Man, the triple BRIT Award winner, will return to Yorkshire on Friday, July 11, following his sold-out shows in Scarborough in 2023. He’ll be joined by Elles Bailey, whose soulful blues sound will set the stage for an unforgettable night.

On Saturday, July 26, Texas will return to Scarborough for their first headline performance at the venue since 2018. With more than 40 million albums sold worldwide, Sharleen Spiteri and her band will perform their biggest hits, including ‘Say What You Want’ and ‘Summer Son’.
